Mission, vision and values
The spirit of collaboration towards a green transition
In addition to these values, the SGA project seeks to encourage collaboration between various stakeholders within the smart grid ecosystem, such as operators, suppliers, universities and startups. This collaboration is critical for driving the energy transformation and electrification value chain. The values of the SGA project are aligned with Iberdrola's objectives towards a green transition.

Mission
The mission of the Smart Grids Academy (SGA) project is to become a Hub of knowledge and know-how, a trainer of qualified professional profiles in the field of smart power grids and related emerging technologies, in order to promote an energy and green transformation.
Vision
The SGA project's vision is to make Bizkaia a leader in innovation applied to smart grids and to develop a platform to drive R&D&I and local and international talent, through the Global Smart Grids Innovation Hub, and collaboration between the various stakeholders in the smart grid ecosystem.
This vision is possible thanks to the Global Smart Grids Innovation Hub, an innovation center dedicated to smart grids that Iberdrola set up in collaboration with the Bizkaia Provincial Council.
